Lounges (Link to Menus)
Sunset Bar - The Sunset Bar on this ship is a wonderful space on deck 15. There is plenty of room for lots of people to gather there, like they get for sailaway groups. The below photos shows the area it occupies. It is just above the Oceanview Cafe outdoor area.

It is a large open area with a cover over the immediate bar area. With all the seating it is also a great place to lounge during the day or evening.

Martini Bar - This bar is under the massive chandelier on deck 3 of the atrium. The floor is on two levels allowing chairs on one side and stools on the other.

Pool Bar - This bar is, as the name would apply, right next to the deck 14 pool.

The Retreat Lounge - Since were were in a suite for this cruise, we were able to access the Retreat area that is on deck 15 and reserved for suite guests. It is a very comfortable place that I wish I could use on my January cruise. But unfortunately, I just can't justify the cost of a suite, so I thouroughly being able to access it on this cruise.

There is also and outside area adjoining the lounge.

We went to the Retreat for a very enjoyable continental breakfast. As in the Oceanview Cafe, there was a handwashing station.

Entertainment
The Theater - This is Celebrity’s first theater in the round. It is a great design with no obstructed views. The seats are quite comfortble with plenty of leg room. There is a small area near the front of the theater where there are a few tables and chairs. The sound and lighting systems are outstanding.

The Club - The Club is a two story entertainment venue that can be used for many different activies. It should be a great place for those that want a large dance floor.

There is also a cozier bar and lounge area at one side of the Club.

Grand Plaza- This atrium area is the heart of the ship and just a great place to hang out. In addition to the Martini Bar being there, they also have musicians playing during the evening.

During our cruise they had a light show performed with the massive chandalier at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. I was able to record most of it on my iPhone. It is worth checking out if you have time. Below is the video
Eden - This is a beautiful area that covers decks 3, 4 and 5 at the back of the ship. It is made to look like a lush garden that contains a large lounge area, a restaurant, snack bar and is an entertainment venue. The bar has the most expensive drinks on the ship. They have unusual ingredients and are prepared in a unique way. I had three of their drinks, and didn't care for any of them. It was disappointing.

While at Eden, there are entertainers walking around the main floor in unusual costumes. They are hard to describe. What was more noticeable was that they carried themselves around in slow motion moving their arms up in the air and all around, also in slow motion. Their expressions while doing these movements was either a blank stare or a foolish looking fake smile. The entertainers actually appeared to be having a psychedelic trip. At times the performers would get on the small elevated stage and either do some gymnastic moves or caress each other. It was incredibly strange. Add to that the fog machines and flashing lights. As strange as the entertainment was, I kept going back to see more of it. I have put more photos and a videos of their actual entertainment in the Shows section of the review on page 5. Some of the performers did move quicker during the actual shows.

There is a ramp that starts on the starboard side of deck five that curves around the glassed in back area of the ship up to the deck six area. This was my favorite part of Eden. There were lovely decorations and furniture all along the path that looked out at the ships wake, that would make it a great place to chill during the day when shows aren't being performed.

I liked the unusual looking plant statuary that was placed along the path. I am including photos of all of them, since they are so unique and just lovely creations.

The views looking down to deck 4 were quite nice also.

The deck 5 area is actually a very nice gathering place, since it is out of the main traffic and there is no way to access it other than the ramp or the small elevator that covers the three floors.

Rooftop Garden - This is just a lovely place. It replaced the area that is used on the Solstice class ships as a lawn club. To me, this is major upgrade. Beside being just a beautiful place to hang out, they have a stage for entertainment. This is also where they show movies on the large screen.

It is also quite pretty at night when it is illuminated. The large metal horse is a poplular photos opp.

Casino - The casino was pretty much like those on other Celebrity ships.

Outer Decks
In the center of deck 14, is a large 25 yard in length pool. It is surrounded by lounge chairs. A most popular photo opp spot is the butterfly wings on one end of the pool. People wanted their photos taken with the the wings spreading out behind them.

There are many other lounging areas on decks 15 and 16. It appears that they took advantage of every available space to make lounging areas.

In the evening, the outer decks are illuminated and take on a different look. It is a show in itself. It gets prettier as it gets darker.

Edge Cabanas - The Edge cabanas are an extra cost option for those wanting a private deck area for themselves or a small group. The path along the starboard side of deck 14 does have an interesting look. It is roped off during cabana hours to limit traffic. With the pool loungers facing the pool and the cabanas facing the ocean, it does provide a good level of privacy. When the Magic Carpet is on deck 14, it is positioned next to the cabanas.

Jogging Track - The Edge has a jogging track that inclines from deck 15 to deck 16. It is a quite a unique feature. It is obviously beneficial for cardio exercise. Another benefit is that it keeps the track less crowded with non-walkers/joggers. There are loungers set out all along the track for those looking to relax in the sun or shade. Along the trail is the very popular photo opp, the metal horse sculpture that has affectionaly been named Mr. Edge. A take off of the TV show horse named Mr. Ed.

Martini Hot Tubs - Another of the many unique features of the Edge are the martini hot tubs. The two tubs cover two decks and have a great view of the pool and upper deck areas.

The Retreat - At the front of the ship on deck 16, suite guests have their own private sundeck/pool area. This is a big plus for those that book suites.
